About Bear Event Services
Who We Are
Bear Event Services is owned and operated by Sheldon and Wendy Butler. Sheldon was formerly the long-time director of operations with the Yakima Convention Center, and Wendy, with over 20 years of marketing, communications and event planning experience, purchased Bear Trade Show Services in 2011 with a primary focus on trade shows and expositions.
In 2013 Bear expanded its inventory and services to encompass party rental equipment as well as a full range of audio/visual equipment and event management services. In 2016, the company underwent a name change to Bear Event Services better reflecting the broad variety of equipment and services available to our customers for their special events, big or small.
In 2022 we started the Central Washington Wedding & Event Expo, providing an opportunity for event vendors to showcase their businesses to brides, quinces, and so much more!
